Simplifying Fractions

Simplifying fractions, means rewriting a fraction in its simplest form without changing its value. To simplify a fraction, divide both the numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor (GCF). A fraction is fully simplified when the numerator and denominator have no common factors other than 1. Practice reducing fractions below, including proper fractions, improper fractions, and fractions that are already in simplest form.
